Follow up on today's Zoom call about Fears
In today’s Being Growing Doing gathering on Zoom, we had a wonderful (and brave) conversation around avoid-at-all-costs fears that fit so neatly into our lives that we no longer even see them. Why is this a problem? They stop us from doing what we should be doing.
For that reason, I’d like to suggest that each of us set the following intention for the next month:
My intention is to live my life in such a way that I actively seek out and identify the fears that are holding back my life and career, or shifting its path significantly.
For the next month, live as though this is one of your strongest intentions. Do whatever you can do to identify your fears and their impact on you.
— Examine your life’s journey so far
— Consider paths you did not take
— Talk to colleagues, friends and family members. Ask them, “What do you think scares me the most?” or some variation of this question.
The deeper you dive into your fears (and remember, everyone has them), the more you will gain from the next month.
My deepest gratitude to all who joined today’s call. Each of you is a remarkable human being.
