How to Download Wisdom
Without technology
A few days ago, working with a healer and guide, we were practicing “seeing” each other at the deepest levels. On my own end, I saw her in many different emotional states and ages, with one state after another clicking into focus and then being replaced by another. Some of these glimpses lasted a second or less. (Out of respect for her privacy, I will leave the details there.)
This is not the first time I’ve had such an experience.
Two decades ago, I was with another highly spiritual friend. He was explaining a complicated topic to me, and in the middle of this, I literally saw him shift shapes. He was younger… then older… weaker… then stronger. It kept happening, like a match flickering back and forth, for perhaps 30 seconds.
During this entire interlude, I blinked a few times but never said a word to him. It was such a magical experience, I didn’t want to water it down with words.
That same friend used to observe if we are truly coherent and take meditation and connections with nature seriously, then we can become a receiver of universal intelligence.
This doesn’t mean that if you meditate 15 minutes a day for three weeks, you will suddenly be a genius.
It means that if you open yourself up to the universe in every way possible, again and again and again—with determination and courage—you will tap into a source of intelligence that makes AI look like a cute gimmick.
Why courage? Because it takes courage to ask the floor to fall out from under you and all your walls to disappear.
What makes us human is not that we follow the rules and live by the clock. What makes us human is the part of us that stretches beyond words and what we learned in school. It’s the energy that animates us. And it’s the potential to connect at a profound level with something much greater than the scale of our bodies.
Rather than give you more words, try this and see for yourself
I reconnect with Spirit and let it guide me. I invite it to share what I need to know, but may have forgotten.
I am open to whatever knowing serves my best interests, and those of the people and creatures I love.
I am unafraid of the truth and am grateful to be connected so deeply to the wisdom and compassion that surrounds us.
May my gratitude become a seed of light that ripples throughout the Universe, filling others with love and joy and peace. In this manner, let us learn from each other, cherish each other, and find those souls we are meant to connect with.
Thank you for helping me along my path, giving me clues to find more of the miraculous possibilities that are everywhere on my journey.
With love and gratitude, I am open, aware and ready to receive what you wish to share.
P.S. Say these words out loud.

"O Allah, I seek Your guidance (in making a choice) by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. You have power, and I do not. You know, and I know not, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter [mention the thing to be decided] is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, my worldly affairs, and in the hereafter then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, my worldly affairs, and in the hereafter then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me the good wherever it may be and make me content with it." Amen 🤲🏻
