The last time I played Bingo was… I have no idea.
But yesterday I stumbled across someone who created a Bingo card filled with her own creative lessons, and it felt like a cool thing to do.
So I made one of my own:
This pretty much sums up most of my instincts about having a full and rich life, one that adds value to others and to the world around you.
I sort of like that it’s a Bingo card, because that reduces any compulsion I feel to do everything on this card in a finite period of time. Doing four or five of these would be wonderful.
For example, this morning one of our dogs woke me up at 5 a.m. and after I crawled back into bed, I practiced “be still and know.” More specifically, as I inhaled, I thought: this is my in-breath. As I exhaled, I thought: this is my out-breath. That’s it. That’s all I did. Snuggled under the covers, I was truly focused on the present moment and on one thing at a time.
You might—just might—try printing out this card and putting a coin on whatever squares you manage to achieve in a day (or week).
I also won’t be insulted if you use this template to make a Bingo card of your own:
